Description: As part of the 1998 Wildlife Act, all Wildlife Management boundaries were digitally produced at a scale of 1:250,000. These boundaries have been legally described as part of the Wildlife Act Regulations. The metes and bounds descriptions and corresponding boundaries in the respective Regulations have been updated to be in compliance with the 2014 update to the Wildlife Act and to fulfil a commitment to comply with metes and bounds descriptions in paramount legislation from Canada and the settled land claim areas in the NWT. These boundaries have been used as the basis of the maps used for the annual Hunting Regulations Maps. Boundaries have been updated as required due to changes in the legislation.Since the Act has been passed, there have been a few updates to descriptions and boundaries that are reflected on a case by case basis.Wildlife Management Moose Area S/MO/01, comprising Special Harvesting Area (Moose) #30 to 37 as delimited in Schedule VII of the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement. Wildlife Management Moose Area G/MO/01, comprising Special Harvesting Area (Moose) #9, 11 and 12 as defined in Schedule VIII of the Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement.
